Every adventure, big or small, makes life just a bit more fun to live. Stories certainly make the world a more interesting place. As a storyteller, I get to go on adventures every day and bring people along with me through my drawings. Inspired by classics, fairytales, and mythology, I learn from past stories to create something new. 

Whether through the digital pen or the traditional one, my work sweeps viewers into a world of vibrancy, liveliness, and color. I trade my sketchbook and iPad Pro back and forth as I work, using a pencil for ideation and the iPad for revision. When it’s time to create the final work, I generally opt for a digital finish, but occasionally pull out my gouache and enjoy the painting process. Blending the digital and traditional worlds is part of the adventure, as I use all my available tools to complete my illustrations.

My job is to bring the worlds in our heads to life. Clear visual storytelling is always the goal, from imagination to sketchbook to finished illustration. Each piece is a glimpse into a different world, different perspective, and different adventure, bringing a little more magic and fun to everyday living.
